1. Scope of this policy

This policy covers information collected through hrsclea.shop (pages visited, form submissions, correspondence) and information received in the ordinary course of our residential construction work — estimates, contracts, jobsite files and warranty records. It does not govern third-party websites we link to, and it supplements — never replaces — confidentiality duties under your contract or the law.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

• Contact details: name, email address, phone number and project address sent through the plan-request form or email.
• Project information: lot or site address, plans you share, scope descriptions, budget ranges and timeline notes you provide.
• Contract file: where a project proceeds, the signed agreement, draw schedule, selections, change orders, inspection records and warranty registration reasonably required to build and close out the job.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, collected by our hosting provider for security and delivery.
• No tracking pixels: we do not run advertising pixels or cross-site trackers on this website.

2.3 Information we do not want

Do not send deposits, wire instructions, signed contracts, lien waivers or account numbers through website forms or ordinary email. Payments and executed documents follow the signed contract and are verified by phone.

3. How we use information

• Responding to plan requests and scheduling site walks.
• Preparing proposals, estimates and construction agreements.
• Running the job: permits, subcontractor coordination, draw schedules, selections and punch lists.
• Maintaining contract files, inspection records and warranty documentation.
• Meeting legal, tax, licensing and record-keeping obligations under Utah and federal law.
• Protecting homeowners, the company and our crews from fraud and impersonation, and enforcing our terms.

4. Legal bases & consent

We process personal information to respond to requests you initiate, to prepare and perform contracts you are party to, to comply with legal obligations (licensing, building records, tax, retention), and for legitimate interests in running a safe, professional building company. Where consent is the basis you may withdraw it by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect prior processing.

5. Disclosure of information

We do not sell personal information. We may share it with:

• Subcontractors and suppliers — only what they need to price and perform their scope on your project;
• Service providers hosting, email and records systems under confidentiality obligations;
• Building departments, inspectors and utilities as required for permits and inspections;
• Lenders and title companies where your financing or sale requires it and you have authorized it;
• Regulators and courts where the law requires;
• Successors if the company is reorganized or merged, subject to the same confidentiality.

6. Confidentiality of project files

Contract files, plans, draw schedules and jobsite records are confidential. Access is limited to personnel and trades who need it for the project. We do not discuss your project with third parties without authorization or lawful compulsion.

7. Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards: restricted access to contract files, encryption in transit for hosted services, and phone verification before acting on any instruction that changes banking, scope or schedule. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will notify you as the law requires.

8. Retention

• Plan requests: retained while the project is being discussed; declined inquiries are archived or deleted within 24 months.
• Contract files: agreements, draw schedules, change orders, inspection and warranty records are retained for the periods required by Utah law and our records schedule — in many cases through the warranty period and beyond.
• Server logs: retained by the hosting provider under its own schedule.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and may object to certain processing. We will honor requests as the law permits — noting that contract files and legal-retention duties may limit deletion. Email hello.t.osborne@hrsclea.shop with the subject "Privacy Request."

10. Children

This website addresses property owners and project correspondents. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Impersonation & draw-fraud warning

We will never email you unexpected wire instructions, new bank details, draw demands or requests for signed documents outside your contract process. If you receive such a message claiming to be from HKS, verify by phone at +1 (276) 930-7502 before acting — using a number you already know, not one from the suspicious message.
